Why women tend to have strong psychic abilities

Why women tend to have strong psychic abilities

Regarding why many women have strong psychic abilities, there is a tendency for this from a spiritual perspective.

Many fortune-tellers who require psychic sensitivity are women, and there is a general perception that women often possess stronger psychic abilities.

Psychic ability is not something taught in schools, nor is it scientifically proven, and even Wikipedia tends to describe it as a special ability. It is therefore understandable that people view it as somewhat mysterious or vague.

In reality, psychic ability exists in everyone. Ghosts have a consciousness, higher-dimensional beings have a consciousness, and people also have a consciousness—it is the ability to sense these minds.

Moreover, it is believed that the depths of all human hearts are interconnected, and beyond that lies the spiritual world, which is the world of the mind.

For example, psychic sensitivity can manifest in simple ways: when shaking someone’s hand, you might sense their unique personal aura or atmosphere. This is a small manifestation of psychic ability—the capacity to feel another’s heart.

Why women tend to have strong psychic abilities

In other words, the reason many women have strong psychic abilities is that women tend to have a heightened awareness of the heart and a strong ability to sense the feelings of others.

Looking at the basic differences between male and female psychology, men generally have a stronger tendency to want to be aware of rather than be noticed, whereas women tend to want to be noticed rather than to notice. Naturally, this opposing dynamic acts like a magnet, drawing the sexes together and making it easier for different genders to connect.

Men tend to focus on their hobbies, work, and the visible, tangible aspects of reality, while also wanting to notice women.

Women, on the other hand, often feel a stronger need than men to enhance their own value in order to be noticed, and they also tend to be more conscious of their own hearts, as they seek recognition.

This dynamic is especially evident in matters of romance and relationships, where women are more attuned to emotional nuances—a pattern that may help people understand and accept this tendency.

Thus, because of the differences in male and female psychology, women tend to have a higher awareness of the heart and a more active psychic sensitivity.

Regarding the differences between the left and right brain: the left brain excels in language construction, logical reasoning, calculation, and comparison—it tends to engage more with the visible, tangible reality and functions in a more analytical, “male-typed” manner.

The right brain, however, is adept at rhythm, imagery, intuition, and sensing the overall atmosphere—it excels in perceiving invisible aspects such as emotions and the heart, functioning in a more “female-typed” way.

Ideally, a balance between the two is desirable, but humans naturally seek value, which can create biases. As a result, differences in perception and values emerge.

In other words, while it does not apply to everyone, women tend to be right-brain dominant, making it easier for psychic sensitivity to emerge.

Studies examining the brain waves of psychics show that during spiritual activity, the right brain is particularly active.

However, even today, due to gender equality, women may adopt male-typed ways of thinking, and not every woman will necessarily have heightened psychic ability.

Moreover, some men are highly aware of the heart. When men develop this awareness, their tendency to notice can surpass that of women, and men with strong psychic ability may appear. Historically, many founders of religions were men with strong psychic sensitivity.

From this perspective, it is understandable that when a male spiritual leader establishes a religious movement, women with psychic sensitivity are naturally drawn to him first, and later men may join, forming the basis of a religious organization.

This is not widely known, but if such understanding spreads, it could influence social dynamics, potentially requiring men to be more conscious of women’s perceptions.
