The necessity of spiritual growth! Spirituality

The Necessity of “Spiritual Rank Growth”! From a spiritual perspective, many people probably do not truly feel the necessity of “spiritual rank growth.”

Not by intention, but in my own experience, although I was from Osaka until I graduated high school, by what seemed like fate, I ended up working at the NHK Broadcasting Center in Shibuya, Tokyo.

There were times at work that were so boring it felt like my brain was rotting, and it was precisely from those moments that I began to reflect deeply on various events and experiences.

Later, through exposure to psychology and subsequently encountering “spirituality,” I came to consider the necessity of “spiritual rank growth.”

Ordinary people, walking through life in a more conventional way than I did, tend not to feel the necessity of “spiritual rank growth” in the same way.

It may be natural that some people feel that moral or ethical content holds little value for them.

Furthermore, most people are caught up in the busyness of daily life, and unless there is some mental space or leisure, the awareness of the importance of “spiritual rank growth” does not easily arise—this is something that can be observed from a spiritual perspective.

In my view, out of a group of about 20 people, perhaps only one might have an awareness of spirituality.

The necessity of “spiritual growth,” “soul growth,” and “spirituality”

The necessity of “spiritual rank growth” and the growth of the soul can be seen as a major topic from a spiritual perspective.

Regarding “soul growth,” as I have discussed many times on this blog, the growth of knowledge comes from each individual “insight,” and the growth of the heart, or “spiritual rank growth,” likewise comes from each individual insight of the heart.

When one’s spiritual rank is high, their presence and influence in a spiritual sense increases, their creative power to fulfill the hearts of others strengthens, and the more insights they have, the broader their perspective on things becomes. This is not a difficult concept—it is simply about becoming spiritually “adult.”

Conversely, when one’s spiritual rank is low, their presence and influence in a spiritual sense is weak, they tend to prioritize satisfying their own heart over fulfilling the hearts of others, and their perspective on things tends to be narrower due to fewer insights of the heart. This, too, is not a difficult concept—it is simply about being spiritually “childlike.”

As a matter of course, to raise children, one must be spiritually “adult.”

However, Japanese education tends to focus heavily on each individual “insight” of knowledge, while the cultivation of insights from the heart is weak, which makes it more likely for spiritually “low-ranked” adults to appear.

The necessity of “spiritual growth,” “low spiritual level,” and “spirituality”

The necessity of “spiritual rank growth” and the concept of “low spiritual rank” can be seen from a spiritual perspective.

When one has a low spiritual rank, their presence and influence in a spiritual sense is weak, they are more prone to stress, and the energy seeking a sense of existence can manifest in ways that harm others—such as through slander, child abuse, bullying, moral harassment, “monster” behaviors, toxic parenting, stalking, or violent crimes.

If many people with low spiritual rank appear, it is not an exaggeration to say that even the natural world could potentially collapse.

Currently, the world population is said to be 7 billion, and by 2050, it is expected to exceed 10 billion.

At the current spiritual rank of humanity, it is almost certain that by 2050, the natural world on Earth could face collapse.

Because people with low spiritual rank have a narrow perspective, it is natural that awareness of the necessity of spiritual rank growth is less likely to arise. However, it is still possible to understand the importance of spiritual rank growth.

A characteristic of spiritual rank is that as one’s rank rises, a sense of “graduation” from former interests emerges, and one naturally progresses toward spiritual maturity.

This graduation from personal desires helps to manifest a power that can, to some extent, protect the natural world.
