The age of feminism! What lies ahead?

The Era of Feminism — What Comes Next? From a spiritual perspective, a deeper picture begins to emerge.

According to Wikipedia, feminism is defined as the ideology of women’s liberation, encompassing social movements that address gender-based inequalities in political systems, cultural practices, and social trends. It is a movement advocating for a society in which men and women can exercise equal rights.

From this perspective, there appear to be two ways of thinking about feminism. The first is a social movement that recognizes the value of women as women on equal footing with men.

The second is the idea that women’s values should be forced to conform to men’s values — that women should adopt the same standards as men.

For example, some argue that wearing skirts is inappropriate, emphasizing femininity is undesirable, and women should accept interests and activities traditionally preferred by men.

In extreme cases, this might extend to activities like professional baseball, suggesting that women should play alongside men as equals in such fields.

Personally, I do not find this second approach desirable. From a spiritual and physical perspective, increasing masculine energy within women can raise the risk of health issues, such as uterine or breast cancer, and can have negative effects on both mind and body.

Spiritually, it is said that the overall energetic quality of the Earth is shifting — from a predominance of masculine energy to a gradual predominance of feminine energy.

This shift is not sudden like flipping a black-and-white switch; rather, it is gradual, like the relationship between the sun and the moon. It is a force that influences the entire planet, affecting men and women alike.

The age of feminism! What lies ahead?

The predominance of feminine energy is still only in its early stages. In its infancy, feminine mental energy often manifests in opposing emotions — joy, anger, sorrow, and delight — which can easily appear in society as polarization, contradictions, sudden policy reversals, and wave-like fluctuations.

Men tend to suppress and control their mental energy, which often makes both mind and body more rigid. Women, on the other hand, tend to release and control their mental energy outwardly, which often makes both mind and body more flexible.

Change occurs more easily in the flexible than in the rigid. Therefore, the current era — driven by feminine-dominant energy — marks the beginning of a time of rapid transformation.

Masculine-dominant energy tends to place value on visible, material things, whereas feminine-dominant energy tends to place value on the invisible — the heart and inner feelings.

In this context, the rise of feminism can be seen as a reflection of this growing feminine energy. The movement for equality and recognition becomes increasingly aligned with the emergence of feminine values in society.

Although feminism speaks of gender equality, from a spiritual perspective, it is possible that the balance may gradually shift, giving more prominence to feminine influence.

As I have mentioned many times in this blog, the growth of the soul parallels the growth of knowledge: each individual awakening of knowledge contributes to intellectual growth, just as each awakening of the heart contributes to the growth of spiritual maturity (reikaku).

When spiritual maturity rises, one’s spiritual presence grows, along with the creative ability to fulfill the hearts of others. The more awakenings of the heart one experiences, the broader one’s perspective becomes. This is not a difficult concept — it is simply the process of becoming spiritually mature.

Conversely, low spiritual maturity manifests as weaker spiritual presence, a tendency to prioritize one’s own emotional satisfaction over fulfilling others, and a narrower perspective due to fewer awakenings of the heart. This too is not complex — it is essentially a state of spiritual childhood.

Men, in general, tend to have less awareness of the heart, and therefore may appear to have lower spiritual maturity.

Women, by contrast, tend to have stronger awareness of the heart. Through individual awakenings, their spiritual maturity increases, allowing them to manifest as spiritually and emotionally more mature beings.

In other words, from a spiritual perspective, women are inherently stronger than men. In the coming era of feminine-dominant energy, it is likely that women will increasingly assume positions of prominence and influence.
