An era prone to earthquakes and floods! Spiritual
From a spiritual perspective, the coming era may be one in which earthquakes and floods occur more frequently.
Humans have a psychological tendency known as normalcy bias, which leads us to underestimate risks and believe that disasters will not personally affect us. Many people may think, “This will never happen to me.”
For example, during the COVID-19 pandemic, some people—such as a woman who assumed the virus was “just a cold”—believed they would never personally be affected. Even now, some people continue to suffer from long-term effects, while others remain convinced it could never happen to them.
In terms of floods, global warming has been causing ocean temperatures to rise. As a result, the atmosphere holds more moisture, making heavy rainfall increasingly likely.
Similarly, if sea temperatures in the Sea of Japan rise, the increased moisture in the air can lead to heavier snowfall.
For example, in Hokkaido, record-breaking snowfall has been reported, and the weight of the snow has even caused buildings to collapse. Such events may become more frequent in the future.
In an era prone to disasters, “feminine energy” and “spirituality”
From a spiritual perspective, the current era may be one in which disasters such as earthquakes and floods occur more easily. This is because the influence of feminine energy can manifest as a force that triggers such events.
Spiritually, it is said that the overall energy of the Earth is gradually shifting from a predominance of masculine energy to increasing feminine energy. This is not a sudden, black-and-white switch, but a gradual shift, like the relationship between the sun and the moon, affecting the entire planet regardless of gender.
Feminine energy is still in its early stages. At this point, the emotional energy of developing feminine forces can fluctuate between opposites—joy and sorrow, anger and compassion. This duality can appear in society as polarization, contradictions, sudden reversals, and wave-like instability.
Men tend to control and restrain their emotional energy, making mind and body more rigid, while women tend to express and release their emotional energy, making mind and body more flexible. Since change occurs more easily in flexible systems, this marks the beginning of an era characterized by rapid and intense transformations driven by feminine energy.
In short, the soft, outward-flowing force of feminine energy makes natural disasters like earthquakes and floods more likely to manifest.
In an era prone to disasters, people's spiritual level, “spirituality”
In an era where natural disasters are more likely, the spiritual level of humanity is also an important factor to consider.
We have often discussed soul growth on this blog. Just as knowledge grows through individual moments of realization, the growth of the spirit—what we call spiritual development—also occurs through each conscious insight of the heart.
When one’s spiritual level is high, their existential presence strengthens in a meaningful, mental sense. Their ability to create and fulfill the hearts of others also increases, and with more awareness, their perspective on the world broadens. This is not a complicated concept—it is simply the process of becoming mentally and spiritually mature.
Conversely, a low spiritual level indicates a weaker existential presence in a mental sense. Such individuals tend to prioritize fulfilling their own desires over attending to the hearts of others. With fewer insights, their perspective on the world narrows. Again, this is not complicated—it represents a childlike state of mind.
Among the causes of disasters, there is the possibility that self-centered human behavior—placing one’s own fulfillment above the well-being of others—can provoke events that manifest as the “anger of nature,” making disasters more likely.
