A Major Shift in the Era! Be Prepared!
From a spiritual perspective, one might consider that the era has been undergoing significant changes since the beginning of Reiwa.
The spread of COVID-19 began around the end of Reiwa 1 (2019) in Wuhan, and even by Reiwa 4 (2022), it has not yet shown signs of fully subsiding.
Additionally, with Russian President Putin invading Ukraine, and with some of his plans not going as expected, it is unclear what actions he might take next.
Although not absolute, the laws governing the world tend to repeat cycles of stability and change. While the Heisei era symbolized a period of relative stability, the Reiwa era has increasingly become a time in which “an era of change” emerges more prominently.
Most people desire peace, and for many, daily life has traditionally been peaceful.
However, that world has been affected by events such as the disruption of nature due to global warming, and the impact of COVID-19 has imposed certain restraints on humanity, which in turn allowed nature to recover in some ways.
From a spiritual perspective, this marks the beginning of a significant shift in the era, making it impossible to return to the previous values of daily life.
For example, in many companies, practices such as company drinking parties have been abolished, and it is unlikely that the traditional values associated with such gatherings will return.
With the times changing dramatically, be prepared for “feminine energy” and “spirituality.”
The era is undergoing a major transformation—be prepared. From a spiritual perspective, the influence of “feminine-dominant energy” is increasingly emerging as a force that drives this significant change.
Spiritually, it is said that the overall energy of the Earth is gradually shifting from “male-dominant energy” to “female-dominant energy.”
This is not a sudden switch like flipping a black-and-white switch, but rather a gradual change, similar to the relationship between the sun and the moon, and it affects the entire planet regardless of gender.
The “female-dominant energy” is still only in its early stages. The emotional energy of young women, with its mix of joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure—these “opposing energies”—tends to manifest in society as polarization, contradictions, rapid policy reversals, and fluctuations like waves.
Men tend to suppress and control their mental energy, making their mind and body relatively rigid, while women tend to express and release their mental energy outward, making their mind and body more flexible.
Changes occur more easily in the flexible than in the rigid, and this era marks the beginning of a “highly transformative period” driven by female-dominant energy.
This soft, outward-reaching force also makes natural phenomena such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and floods more likely to occur.
For example, this past winter, Hokkaido experienced record-breaking snowfall. This could be related to the possibility that, due to global warming, higher ocean temperatures have increased atmospheric moisture.
Male-dominant energy tends to value “visible material things,” whereas female-dominant energy tends to value the “invisible aspects of the heart.”
While not absolute, it is likely that in the future, “visible material values,” especially those created by humans, may begin to collapse under this shift.
The times are changing dramatically. Be prepared for the era of “spiritual growth” and “spirituality.”
The era is undergoing a major transformation—be prepared. From a spiritual perspective, we are entering a period in which the value of “spiritual growth” and the development of the heart will increasingly come to the forefront.
“Growth of the soul”—as discussed repeatedly on this blog—means that the accumulation of knowledge comes through each individual “realization,” and similarly, the growth of the heart, or “spiritual maturity,” arises from each inner “realization.”
When one’s spiritual maturity is high, one’s presence in a spiritual sense becomes stronger, the ability to nurture and inspire the hearts of others increases, and the more realizations one accumulates, the broader one’s perspective becomes. This is not a difficult concept; it is essentially the process of becoming spiritually “adult.”
Conversely, low spiritual maturity means a weaker spiritual presence, a tendency to prioritize fulfilling one’s own heart over nurturing others, and a narrower perspective due to fewer realizations. In this sense, it is akin to being spiritually “childlike.”
A key characteristic of spiritual maturity is that as one’s maturity increases, one naturally graduates from the desires typical of those with low spiritual maturity, and higher, more adult-level desires begin to manifest.
Among the causes of environmental degradation, there are instances where the minds of those with low spiritual maturity have contributed to the disruption of nature. Therefore, the growth of the heart, or “spiritual maturity,” is an important matter for humanity.
While it cannot be said for everyone, in the coming era, more people are likely to show a heightened interest in spirituality.
