Japanese people with low self-esteem! Spirituality
Japanese People with Low Self-Esteem! From a “spiritual” perspective, the tendency of having low self-esteem appears as an inevitable phenomenon.
This topic was featured in Ameba News, where it was suggested that, fundamentally, people have a low level of awareness regarding their own self-esteem.
According to Wikipedia, “self-esteem” is described as the emotion by which one can actively evaluate oneself, affirm one’s own value, and recognize one’s own sense of purpose.
While this is not an absolute statement, awareness of self-esteem tends to be higher in women than in men.
First, regarding the differences between male psychology and female psychology: men tend to want to be conscious of others less and to focus more on being the one who is conscious, whereas women tend to want to be noticed rather than to notice others. Ideally, these opposing tendencies naturally attract each other like magnets, making it easier for different genders to come together.
Men generally focus more on their own hobbies, work, and the visible, tangible aspects of reality.
Women, on the other hand, are more likely than men to want to enhance their own value in order to be recognized, which also increases their awareness of their own inner feelings.
In romantic matters concerning the heart, this perspective tends to be more directed toward women, which may help them understand and accept it.
In other words, men tend to focus more on the visible, external reality and are less conscious of evaluating themselves.
Women are more likely than men to have the desire to enhance their own value, which tends to manifest as self-esteem.
Japanese people with low self-esteem, “spiritual growth,” and “spirituality”
There is a perspective from spirituality regarding why many Japanese have low self-esteem, connected to soul growth.
On this blog, I have often discussed soul growth. Just as the growth of knowledge is realized through each individual “awareness” or insight, the growth of the heart—spiritual rank growth—is also achieved through each individual “awareness” of the heart.
When one’s spiritual rank increases, one’s presence in a spiritual sense becomes stronger, the ability to satisfy the hearts of others and create increases, and the more “awareness” one has in the heart, the broader one’s perspective on things tends to become. This is not a difficult concept; it is essentially about becoming an adult in a spiritual sense.
Conversely, when one’s spiritual rank is low, one’s presence in a spiritual sense is weak, one tends to prioritize satisfying one’s own heart over satisfying the hearts of others, and with fewer “awarenesses” of the heart, one’s perspective on things tends to be narrow. This is also not a difficult concept; it is essentially being a child in a spiritual sense.
While not an absolute statement, Japanese education tends to place value only on each “awareness” of knowledge, and there is a tendency to mistakenly equate high paper test scores with high personal value.
In an environment where heart growth is not realized, it is natural that self-esteem, driven by the desire to feel one’s own presence, tends to emerge.
Japanese people with low self-esteem, “feminine energy,” and “spirituality”
From a spiritual perspective, the fact that many Japanese have low self-esteem can also be understood as a natural consequence of the feminine-dominant energy.
In spirituality, it is said that the overall energy of the Earth is gradually shifting from male-dominant energy to female-dominant energy.
This shift is not abrupt like a black-and-white switch but occurs gradually, like the relationship between the sun and the moon, influencing the entire Earth regardless of gender.
The female-dominant energy is still in its early stages. The mental energy of young women tends to manifest “opposing energies” such as joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure, which easily appear in society as polarization, contradictions, sudden reversals of decisions, and wave-like patterns.
Men tend to suppress and control their mental energy, which makes their mind and body rigid, while women tend to release and control their mental energy outwardly, making their mind and body more flexible.
Changes in life and society occur more easily where there is flexibility rather than rigidity, and we are now entering a “period of rapid change” due to the female-dominant energy.
Male-dominant energy tends to place value on tangible, visible things, whereas female-dominant energy tends to place value on the invisible aspects of the heart.
When it comes to self-esteem, the growing influence of female-dominant energy directs attention to the heart, making people more aware of their inner selves. For those whose souls are “spiritually low” due to male-dominant energy, awareness of self-esteem naturally arises. From a spiritual perspective, this is an inevitable phenomenon.
