Japan Sinking! “Spiritual Rank” and the Economy! From a spiritual perspective, there is a drama about Japan sinking. While this is a fictional story, it reflects a growing possibility that Japan could face economic decline in the future.

Currently, Japan shows a weakening drive for innovation. Innovation inherently carries the risk of failure, yet the number of business leaders with a strong willingness to take risks is decreasing.

Though not an absolute rule, some CEOs move between major companies, and among them, there are those who believe that as long as no problems arise during their term, that is sufficient.

Again, not universally true, but among major company CEOs, there are some over 70 years old who experienced the bubble era and continue to hold on to the glory of that time.

Additionally, among the companies that survived after the burst of the bubble, some managed to endure not by innovating but by accumulating internal reserves, reflecting business leaders who take a defensive approach.

In South Korea, imports from Vietnam are now higher than from Japan, indicating that Japan’s value is declining from an international perspective.

This reflects the current visible economic situation in Japan, but from a spiritual perspective, there is also the viewpoint that Japan could “sink” spiritually.

Japan sinks, economy deemed “spiritually deficient,” “spiritual”

Japan sinks, economy deemed “spiritually deficient,” “spiritual”

There is a spiritual perspective on Japan’s potential “sinking,” low spiritual level, and the economy.

“Spiritual growth,” which this blog has discussed many times, is the idea that the growth of knowledge comes from each individual “realization,” and the growth of the heart, or “spiritual level,” similarly comes from each realization of the heart.

When one’s spiritual level is high, their presence in a mental sense increases, their creative power to fulfill the hearts of others grows, and the more “realizations” they have, the wider their perspective on things becomes. This is not a difficult concept—it’s essentially about maturing mentally.

A low spiritual level means a weaker presence in a mental sense, with a tendency to prioritize satisfying one’s own heart over fulfilling others’. With fewer “realizations,” one’s perspective on things tends to be narrower. Again, this is not a difficult idea—it is, spiritually speaking, being “childlike.”

Although not absolute, the development of civilization and the economy has often been driven by the desire to fulfill others’ hearts; this energy has created the power for new inventions.

Hisashige Tanaka, founder of Toshiba, is an example. He was motivated by wanting to see people amazed and delighted, and he flourished as an inventor, earning the title of the “Edison of the East.”

With a low spiritual level, the desire to give is often weaker than the desire to receive, increasing the risk of Japan “sinking.”

This is because Japan’s education tends to focus heavily on each individual “realization” of knowledge, while the awareness of each “realization” of the heart is weak. Compared to the past, people with “low spiritual levels” are more likely to appear.

As the creative desire to fulfill others’ hearts weakens, the motivation to innovate also diminishes. From an international perspective, Japan’s appeal decreases, making the possibility of economic decline higher.

Japan sinks, “feminine energy,” “spiritual”

Japan’s potential “sinking” can be seen through the lens of “feminine-dominant energy” and spirituality, which may be a force that could lead to Japan’s decline.

In spirituality, it is said that the overall energy of the Earth is gradually shifting from “male-dominant energy” to “female-dominant energy.”

This change is not a sudden switch like black and white; it is gradual, like the relationship between the sun and the moon, and it affects the Earth as a whole, regardless of gender.

The “female-dominant energy” is still in its early stages. Young women’s emotional energy, which includes opposing feelings such as joy, anger, sadness, and pleasure, tends to manifest, and this can appear in society as polarization, contradictions, and frequent policy changes.

Men tend to “suppress and control” their emotional energy, making both mind and body more rigid, whereas women tend to “release and control” their emotional energy outwardly, making mind and body more flexible.

Change occurs more easily in flexibility than rigidity, and the era is entering a period of rapid transformation due to “female-dominant energy.”

“Male-dominant energy” tends to seek value in existing concepts, while “female-dominant energy” tends to seek new, innovative forms of value.

Although not absolute, Japan’s economy traditionally emphasizes the value of existing knowledge. With the rise of “female-dominant energy,” these conventional value systems are being disrupted, increasing the possibility of Japan’s economic decline.

Already, due in part to the impact of COVID-19, cracks have appeared in the traditional patterns of economic activity, even within the same sectors.
