Consideration of people who do not believe in spirituality
Considering those who do not believe in spirituality, there is a story on Yahoo! News about a conflict between Ebizo Ichikawa and his sister-in-law, a female celebrity. Ebizo Ichikawa is known to be close to spiritual practitioners, while his sister-in-law is involved in a situation where her husband places value on spirituality.
Looking at the comments on Yahoo! News, many take a critical stance toward religion and spirituality, which, from a spiritual perspective, seems like a natural or inevitable outcome.
Incidentally, the values associated with spirituality are more commonly accepted in Western countries, whereas in Japan, the perspective tends to be somewhat different.
Going forward, this tendency may increase further, and among those who place value on spirituality, there may be a growing struggle to find a sense of grounding.
In Japan, the education system tends to place high value only on each piece of knowledge, while awareness of each piece of the heart’s “insight” is relatively weak.
Moreover, there is a tendency to view people with high scores on paper-based tests as having higher personal worth.
From the perspective of those who hold this value system, it is natural that they may fail to see the importance of spirituality, and it is therefore inevitable that negative feelings toward spirituality may emerge.
People who do not believe in “spirituality” tend to have “low spiritual levels.”
The discussion about people who do not believe in spirituality and those with “low spiritual rank” becomes apparent from a spiritual perspective.
The growth of the soul and the growth of knowledge are each made up of individual “insights,” and similarly, the growth of the heart—what is called the “growth of spiritual rank”—also consists of individual insights from the heart.
When one’s spiritual rank is high, one’s existential strength in a spiritual sense increases, the capacity to fulfill the hearts of others through creativity rises, and the greater the number of insights, the broader one’s perspective on life becomes. This is not a complicated concept but a matter of becoming spiritually “mature.”
Conversely, having a low spiritual rank means that one’s existential strength is weak in a spiritual sense, and one tends to prioritize the desire to satisfy one’s own heart over fulfilling the hearts of others. With fewer insights from the heart, one’s perspective on life tends to be narrower. This, too, is not a complicated idea but represents being spiritually “childlike.”
Belief in spirituality requires, to some extent, a relatively high spiritual rank.
In Japan, where high scores on paper-based tests are often seen as an indicator of personal value, it is natural that people who do not believe in spirituality and those with a “low spiritual rank” appear more frequently.
People who don't believe in “spirituality” and inevitable stories
The appearance of people who do not believe in spirituality can also be understood from a spiritual perspective as an inevitable phenomenon.
According to spiritual teachings, the overall energy of the Earth is gradually shifting from a “male-dominant energy” to a “female-dominant energy.”
This change is not sudden like flipping a black-and-white switch; rather, it is gradual, like the relationship between the sun and the moon, and it affects the entire Earth regardless of gender.
The “female-dominant energy” is still in its early stages. The youthful emotional energy of women, with its opposing forces such as joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure, tends to manifest in society as polarization, contradictions, abrupt reversals, and waves of change.
Men tend to “restrain and control” their emotional energy, making their minds and bodies more rigid, whereas women tend to “release and control” their emotional energy outwardly, making their minds and bodies more flexible.
Changes occur more easily in a flexible state than a rigid one, and the era of “female-dominant energy” marks the beginning of a time of rapid and intense change.
“Male-dominant energy” tends to place value on visible, material things, whereas “female-dominant energy” tends to place value on the invisible aspects of the heart.
In other words, “male-dominant energy” tends to value what is visible and is less inclined to value what is invisible.
From a spiritual perspective, it is natural that some people do not believe in spirituality. In the future, while it cannot be said that this applies to everyone, there will likely be more situations where people are compelled to turn their attention inward and focus on their hearts.
